I would be interested in hearing exactly what kind data people are mainly looking for in the categories Digital Goods and Erotica if I were to start up a new vendor account which would deal almost exclusively with these two categories. I used to frequent many private bittorrent trackers a couple of years ago and I still have access to resume that aspect as I'm a power user or higher on the majority of them. The main reason I've been thinking of getting into this is I've not seen anyone offer any package deals and the price of a Seedbox has gone down considerably as of late.If you haven't heard of the term Seedbox, see my thread Seedboxes - Remote Controlled Servers: dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=173470.msg1246699 My first plan would be to operate several Seedboxes and have a private bittorrent tracker setup on a private website for a ratio based subscription fee, it would essentially be selling bandwidth to my various collections through Silk Road which I would continuously update with new content on demand. My vision would be sorting the content to very high standards and eventually adding a website interfaces to this content which would make it superior to normal file sharing options like FTP and Usenet. This interface would have things like customized languages, confirmed working subtitles to any specific file, MD5 checksums and a content request system. The payment would be a small monthly subscription fee along with loading any specific user with bandwidth to download whatever they want until they hit that cap, unlike the current system where one pays for very specific content. My second plan which I might not be able to implement instantly as it would require a solid infrastructure would be setting up the ability for any user to choose any data available on the Seedboxes, alternatively send over data from your own Seedboxes over to mine and then move it over to a designated computer I have access to in Sweden (not at my real address though, obviously). I would then encrypt the hard drive with TrueCrypt, package it and send it to any designated address in the world - I would consider adding an option of postal tracking to the package as they won't be able to pin anything on me with the encryption. Getting a hard drive in the mail would obviously be of no interest to anyone with an ISP which has an unlimited data plan but as I've surprisingly found out not many countries in the world have come as far as Sweden with 100/100 megabit connections with unlimited data - I'm talking one terabyte of data per day for a month straight and the ISP won't care in the slightest. A small sub-section to the hard drives would be sending soft modded game consoles of various kinds, although it depends if there's any demand for this at all. This is how the categories would look like:* Castle: Movies (Blu-ray), Movies (DVD), Movies (HD), Movies (SD)* Dungeon: Applications (Mobile), Applications (Windows)* Fortress: Music (Genuine), Music (MP3)* Inferno: Anime (HD), Anime (SD)* Necropolis: Erotica (HD), Erotica (SD)* Rampart: Games (Microsoft), Games (Mobile), Games (Nintendo), Games (PC), Games (Retro), Games (Sony)* Stronghold: Audio Recordings, Comics, Education, Electronic Books, Operating Systems, Other, Pictures, Projects* Tower: TV-Series (Blu-ray), TV-Series (DVD), TV-Series (HD), TV-Series (SD)To anyone who has read this far, please post what categories would be the most appealing. :)
